Scarves & Pashminas bringing Colour & Warmth for Autumn
Now that there is an occasional chill in the air, why not bring yourself or a friend some warming comfort & elegance with one of our range of scarves & pashminas. We have various styles to choose from so come in & have a browse.
A Whale of a Time / Ships Ahoy
We had a fantastic summer with plenty of beautiful days and are taking a well earned break (we think) now that the cafe & gardens in Ahakista has closed for the season. However our shops in Schull & Kinsale are still open everyday during September & we have a few more designs in our raku ceramics range.
Here are a couple of the whales & a boat design which are for sale in Schull. Pop in & have a closer look at these & all the other exciting designs we have.

Kate Beagan - Irish Landscape & Urban Scenes Artist
As well as my own work, I also have work from other artists & one of these is Kate Beagan who lives in Co. Monaghan.
Kate uses primarily oils in a simplistic way and focuses on the shape, pattern & light capturing the colours of the subject matter & ultimately bringing you the essence of the subject matter. The winter / spring months bring the most diverse light which Kate depicts beautifully as a fleeting moment in time.
A few of her pieces which we have in our Schull shop are shown below & you can see more of Kate's work on her facebook page or at www.katebeaganartist.com

Plastic Wreaths - Upcycled Beach Debris
There is so much to be discovered on our West Cork beaches but unfortunately not all of it is a natural beauty. Here are a couple of examples of what can be created from the excessive waste found on our beaches. From something ugly to a wonderfully bright uplifting decoration with a hint of fun for your house or garden.
